Sims listens, analyzes, leads, and motivates. She infects those around her with her passion. And since founding Launch Something in 2005, she has managed its growth with a steady hand. Above all, she understands the art of designing strategies that help clients achieve their unique goals. She keeps a vigilant eye over each and every client, ensuring the strategy designed for them is being executed with precision and care.
She holds two International MBAs from the Vienna University of Economics in Vienna, Austria and the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She also received undergraduate degrees in Business with Marketing Concentration and Leadership from the University of Richmond in Virginia. Sims started her career at an early age with her strong attitude, sharp eye for opportunity, and wicked negotiating abilities. She officially started getting paid for it in New York City, working for Doremus Advertising as a Media Planner for clients such as Lehman Brothers, ITT Technologies, Guardian Insurance, and Hitachi, preparing and negotiating international media plans with an average value of $5 - $20 million each.
Officially a “Hoosier Baby,” Sims was born in Indiana, but was raised in Spartanburg, SC. When she has the rarity known as “free time,” Sims spends it with her husband Nils and daughter Elodie, practices Pilates, and drinks as much coffee as humanly possible. Believing that giving back to the community is imperative, Sims is actively involved in the Boys and Girls Club, The Rotary Club of Spartanburg, and was a charity dancer in the Dancing with the Spartanburg Stars 2011 benefiting the Cancer Association of Spartanburg & Cherokee Counties.
