Hatcher Garden
Cultivating a botanical garden and woodland preserve
Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve has delighted, educated, and inspired visitors since 1969. But Hatcher is more than just pretty blooms. As a regionally and nationally recognized source of environmental education for children and adults, the Garden’s impact reaches the Spartanburg community and beyond.
From its humble start as an abandoned cotton field to its reputation as a flourishing botanical park, Hatcher Garden needed a website to tell the tale of how one couple’s dream became a natural treasure.
It Starts With a Story
Once upon a time, Harold and Josephine Hatcher saw an opportunity to create a stunning sanctuary in their backyard. We spent the discovery stage of website creation exploring Hatcher Garden’s rich legacy and future plans from a fresh perspective, then set to work copywriting authentic content and brand messaging.
See For Yourself
When it comes to website design and development, looks matter. With a deep understanding of the importance of a site’s appearance, we created a visual brand personality for Hatcher’s glorious gardens. We applied our graphic design and photo and video direction expertise to bring the Hatcher experience to life on-screen.
Growing Together
We highlighted not only Hatcher’s breathtaking beauty but its big heart, too. This is a place where people come for inspiration, enjoyment, and respite. With dynamic educational programs, seasonal community events, and quiet spaces of reflection, these woods in the city provide a place for everyone.

“Launch Something was the most qualified to meet Hatcher Garden’s needs and presented the best website design proposal with the most efficient cost. Their team has been very responsive, solving any website issues once the new website became active, and they continue to be supportive.”
