Breaking ground for a worldwide auto parts supplier
Minghua USA Inc., a division of Jiangnan Mold Plastics Technology Corporation, manufactures interior and exterior trim for BMW. When Minghua opened its new South Carolina facility near the BMW plant in Greer in the spring of 2016, they were ready to celebrate the expansion.
With years of strategy, design, and event planning expertise under our belts, we worked hard to make sure that Minghua broke ground on their new facility in style with a traditional – but not typical – groundbreaking and reception.
Party on
Our team served as a total marketing partner for Minghua’s groundbreaking event, providing full-service event planning from conception to execution. With a focus on striking the right balance of Chinese culture and hometown hospitality, we crafted a groundbreaking event that included a foundation stone unveiling, ceremonial tree planting, and celebratory champagne toast. A stunning traditional Chinese lion dance and an energetic performance by the Clemson University Rally Cats were also featured. The guest list spanned from China-based Minghua executives to local municipal and commerce officials.
Event support
We got to work designing all the necessary pieces to make a successful event. From branded invitations, name tags, and seating cards to eye-catching event agendas and wayfinding signage, we ensured that Minghua’s brand was proudly present in every detail. We also handled press and media relations for Minghua’s welcome, organizing media relations and coverage before, during, and after the groundbreaking.
