We partnered with Power Up Spartanburg to build and launch a digital community and mobile app supporting small business owners across the region.

From brand identity and messaging to UX design, content strategy, and copywriting - our team created a connected, user-friendly space where entrepreneurs can access resources, share ideas, and grow together. We’re also proud to serve as hosts of the community, helping guide conversations, deliver programming, and spark connection inside the platform.

Nicknamed The Power Grid, this new online hub brings everything into one place: funding opportunities, business education, space access, expert support, and peer connection.

This is more than an app. It’s a launchpad for Spartanburg’s entrepreneurial community.

Piedmont Care has been fighting HIV and AIDS in Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties since 1994, providing the community with essential care, advocacy, and prevention services. Committed to health and empowerment, the nonprofit continues to make a lasting impact through educational outreach and compassionate support.

We revamped Piedmont Care’s website to better showcase its bold mission with a fresh design, easier access to services, and a stronger focus on community stories, events, and activism.

Energizing Spartanburg’s small and minority business community

A group of forward-thinking community leaders set out to energize and empower small and minority businesses in Spartanburg. But first, they needed to create a movement. So, they called on our expertise in brand identity and messaging and our experience in boosting economic development to get the job done.

This initiative, led by OneSpartanburg, Inc. and funded by Spartanburg County, is all about momentum and keeping the energy flowing through Spartanburg’s small and minority business economy. We branded it Power Up Spartanburg - dynamic, electric, and connected to a place that’s on the rise. As an extension of the name, we also created the tagline Energize / Extend / Empower, which is exactly what this movement strives to do.

The people behind this plan represent a visionary powerhouse of leaders. We wanted this can-do energy to be evident in more than just the name, so we developed a descriptor for Power Up Spartanburg that embodies the essence of what it is and what it means for the community. We also gave Power Up Spartanburg a vibrant visual identity that will extend across various mediums.

Refreshing a website for our favorite CPA firm

Elliott & Painter Certified Public Accountants serve as a trusted financial partner to clients in an array of industries. And when it comes to taxes, audits, accounting, payroll, and business advisory, they’re the group you want on your side.

They were in the market for a completely redesigned website. Since we’d just handled an overhaul of their branding with a vivid new icon, our team was primed to give this CPA firm a website to match their values, vision, and offerings. The end result? Bold design, strong copy, simple navigation, and a site Elliott & Painter is proud to put their names on.

A new look for an established firm

Elliott & Painter provides an array of tax, accounting, and advisory services for clients of varying industries and sizes. After 17 years, a growing team, and an increasing client base, they were poised for a fresh look in the form of a rebrand.

We created a new Elliott & Painter icon that gives the firm a distinguishable and memorable mark designed to be highly functional across different print and digital media. We even named their official colors with descriptors that match their values, vision, and offerings. The icon and supporting type also informed a new look for business cards, letterhead, envelopes, and report covers.

Making beautiful music with a talented orchestra

The Spartanburg Philharmonic Youth Orchestra features musically gifted and ambitious young musicians in grades 6-12 who own the stage and wow crowds with their high-quality performances.

The SPYO needed a new site to reflect the bold, vibrant vibe of their group, and we stepped up to lead with our design, website creation, and storytelling skills. Using the SPYO logo we recently designed as a starting point, we created a visual representation of music in motion. We also employed our copywriting skills to deliver on-point messaging and connect with the younger audience.

Taking a growing travel hub to new heights

After 50 years of success, the renowned Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) was well-positioned for growth and development. They launched a major terminal renovation project to improve enplanements year-over-year and enhance customer satisfaction while keeping the airport’s authenticity and community feel.

This major project became known as WINGSPAN, the GSP Terminal Improvement Program (TIP), and we branded the entire movement (name creation, logo, and messaging). We stayed on board for the duration of the five-year program, providing strategic marketing, branding, stakeholder communication, kiosk mock-ups, wayfinding signage design, PR expertise and press kit creation, and an interactive website to tell the story of WINGSPAN’s when, why, and how.

Making an innovative engineering company look good online

Trident engineers off-highway drivetrain solutions for markets on the move, like marine, oil and energy, and aviation. They needed a website to let customers know about their design and project engineering work and their cool equipment modernization capabilities.

We applied our expertise in content creation, graphic design, and web design and development to build Trident’s messaging, brand personality, and online presence. Knowing that the people behind this serious work are super fun, we also spiced up the home page with the persona designs of each Trident team member to capture their personalities.

We leaned on their solid reputation to create branding that presented their values in a refined way. The columnal logo says stately, secure, and steadfast, and the presence of their founding year spotlights their rightful place as a permanent fixture in the financial industry.

To tell the story of Colonial’s rich history and investment philosophy, we capitalized on their branding to build a booklet and a website that show how this firm helps people navigate their financial futures.

Minghua USA Inc., a division of Jiangnan Mold Plastics Technology Corporation, manufactures interior and exterior trim for BMW. When Minghua opened its new South Carolina facility near the BMW plant in Greer, they were ready to celebrate the expansion.

Ready to go from zero to pizza in 180 seconds? Rapid Fired Pizza’s got you with their “amazingly good, amazingly fast” offerings. Featuring handcrafted, individual-sized pizzas made-to-order and cooked right in front of you, this chain is spicing things up on the pizza front.

Via outdoor marketing, direct mailings, and some serious pizza PR, we baked up mouth-watering declarations to let residents and travelers alike know that lunch and dinner are officially served.

Boosting the web presence of a big burger brand

Serving the World’s Greatest Burgers is a tall order for some, but beloved burger chain Fuddruckers has been doing it for decades. With their ever-expanding list of menu items and locations, they needed a website to show off the goods.

With the opening of The Silo, RJ Rockers turned their handcrafted flavors into approachable beer-inspired food. Each dish is born in the brewery, crafted in the kitchen, and delivered into the hands of patrons hungry to “eat where the beer is.”

Live on the Green was founded in 2014 to showcase Spartanburg as a more viable location for live music. The event brought renowned artists from across all genres to Barnet Park and the Chapman Cultural Center.

And since we love live music - and our hometown - we were happy to jump on board, making creative for branding and promo, including web, print, outdoor, and a solid digital strategy to spread the word about the annual concert festival.
