Creating a manifesto built on smiles
If you’ve taken a child to the doctor in the last 25 years, chances are you’ve received a SmileMakers sticker. Our buddies at SmileMakers are leaders in the creation and distribution of stickers and rewards featuring today’s most popular characters and themes for the dental and medical markets.
Our team guided SmileMakers through intensive rebranding, including brand development, brand positioning, and engagement strategies. Using our storytelling, graphic design, web, and media talents, we helped them define what matters most and create an emotional connection with their audiences.
Authentic voice
We are experts at creating genuine voice and messaging to match the ethos of a brand. To pull this off, we perform a meticulous brand audit and deep culture dive. That’s what we did for Smilemakers, fully engaging internal and external stakeholders through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and customer listening labs.
Mission vs. manifesto
Like all brands, SmileMakers is founded on a set of values and intentions. But sometimes a traditional mission statement misses the energy and emotion behind a brand. Enter the Brand Manifesto. A mission statement can be dry, but a brand manifesto is a rallying cry. It’s your declaration of independence from all other brands.
Through vibrant, inspirational language and design, we created a SmileMakers brand manifesto built on the belief in the power of a smile. The brand manifesto personifies SmileMakers’ mission to make smiles happen and positions them as the premier provider of products used to inspire, motivate, reward, and celebrate.
Unveiling the update
We helped SmileMakers reveal their new branding and manifesto to employees and customers. Part of this process included a feel-good video to spark emotion and connect with employees. The video added a personal touch by showing love for IRL smile-makers, featuring photos of smiling team members with family and friends.
“SmileMakers has always had a strong brand with engaged employees and loyal customers. Launch Something helped us articulate that in a powerful, fun way by creating our brand manifesto. The Launch Something team was great to work with and they truly captured the essence of who we are and what we stand for.”
