Revving the engines of a VW dealership
We’re all dreaming of a getaway these days. Flashback to when we took Vic Bailey Volkswagen on the road, creating a marketing campaign with a spin to strengthen brand loyalty and community engagement.
Creating a campaign
Vic Bailey Volkswagen needed a creative campaign to drive dealership traffic in hopes of turning visits into sales. We created the Getaway Giveaway series, a catchy campaign name that conveyed the contest’s purpose and was easily hashtagged and shared via social media. We also designed in-store signage and website graphics.
In exchange for a test drive, participants received entries to win trips to destinations like the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, and the World of Coca-Cola and Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Winners were welcomed with themed gift baskets, VW merch, and special trip perks.
The power of staying social
The Getaway Giveaway campaign relied heavily on social media strategy to spread the word (think Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter posts, MailChimp emails, hashtag tracking, and sharing). The result: Vic Bailey Volkswagen saw increases in social media following and engagement thanks to our efforts.
